Terms of Service

TOKI Proposal Studio ("we," "us," or "our") provides proposal planning, concept design, and coordination support services for individuals planning to propose during their visit to Japan. Our services include planning consultation, location and timing recommendations, vendor coordination support, contingency planning, and the preparation of proposal planning documents.

We are not a travel agency, tour operator, or reservation service. We do not sell travel packages, provide transportation, or operate as a licensed travel business.

Our role is limited to planning, design, and coordination support. We may recommend external service providers — including but not limited to accommodation, dining, photography, floral arrangement, and transportation providers — but we do not act as an agent for these providers.

All external services, including accommodation, dining, photography, flowers, and transportation, are generally contracted and paid for directly between the client and the respective service provider. TOKI Proposal Studio is not a party to these arrangements unless explicitly stated otherwise.

We do not guarantee the completion of any reservation, the availability of any venue or service, or any specific outcome — including the outcome of a proposal itself. While we make reasonable efforts to support your planning, results depend on many factors outside our control.

Plans may be affected by weather conditions, facility closures, transportation disruptions, provider-side changes, or other unforeseen circumstances. Where relevant, we include contingency options in our planning. However, we cannot guarantee that all alternatives will be available or that changes will not affect the overall experience.

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our planning services. We are not liable for any costs, losses, or damages arising from the actions or omissions of third-party service providers, weather events, travel disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Service fees are quoted in Japanese Yen (JPY) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment terms and methods will be communicated during the planning process. External service costs are separate and are not included in our fees.

Cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of engagement. Once planning work has been substantially completed, fees may not be fully refundable. Specific terms will be outlined in your engagement confirmation.

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
